Support for Acupuncturists and other healthcare professionals
Why have Supervision?
We all need support sometimes. Working as an acupuncturist is exciting, inspiring and deeply fulfilling; it can also be lonely, frustrating and, at times, overwhelming.
Practitioners are often isolated, dealing with the responsabilities of running a professional practice: managing patient relationships and expectations, dealing with difficult situations, managing treatment plans, identifying training and development needs and running a business.
Meeting these challenges is not something that is effectively managed in a vacuum and needs external support. Regular supervision provides the opportunity for support, review and reflection.
Supervision is practitioner focused and provides a great structure in which to grow and develop as a practitioner, whilst getting support for yourself.
Supervision is for experienced practitioners as well as those who are newly qualified.

Individual and Group Supervision
I provide individual mentoring sessions as well as group supervision.
Individual sessions last one hour and the frequency is arranged according to your needs. Individual sessions take place either face to face or via skype/facetime.
Groups sessions are for 4-6 members and last for 3-4 hours. These sessions take place every 6-8 weeks and require a commitment from each member to the group. Groups sessions have the advantage of working with peers, learning from each other and forming valuable relationships.
My sessions are appropriate for anyone in the helping professions.
All my sessions are run from a central London location with excellent transport links.
How can Supervision help you?
Supervision and mentoring provides a supportive and confidential space in which to explore the issues that arise out of your working life. It provides a safe, non-judgemental environment to reflect on your work, your interactions with patients and your needs as a practitioner.
Supervision is an opportunity to evaluate what is working well and what you may wish to change in order to further your personal and professional development.
It provides the space to stand back and reflect, to share experiences that will enable you to renew your focus, provide clarity and help maintain your professionalism.
